Repurpose Content to Maximize Your Returns

Just one article or video can spin off content for all of your platforms.

We are all limited with how much content we can produce. There are only 24 hours in half of that we are sleeping, eating, or enjoying life with our family. That means you have a precious few hours to document and create content for your business with hopes it drives growth. So you need to make the most of every opportunity.

Here’s how.

Spin Off Your Content

It doesn’t matter if you enjoy taking photos, videos, podcasting, or creating social media. Each type of primary piece of content can be used across all of your platforms.

For example, if you are installing a hot tub and using a crane to carry it from the street over the client’s house and into their backyard. That’s not something you see everyday which makes it great content.

  • Make a YouTube video of this and you cane make it entertaining or informative, or both.

  • Use segments of the video for social media and you can create a narrative, like is the crane strong enough to carry the hot tub or where will it land. String out the “stories” and make it entertaining.

  • You can write a blog post about the process and embed the YouTube video.

  • Create a podcast about the process and how you are an expert in this type of installation.

Do you see what I mean? You can use content in so many ways. I suggest using the core content for an evergreen article or video and that will return dividends via search and then use it for social to enhance your brand.

This is simply an example as you can take any type of interesting home building process and create content. It usually involves action that a layperson doesn’t see everyday. Remember we are trying to reach homeowners, who might be fascinated to see how radiant heat floors are installed or see concrete driveways get poured.

What types of content do you like to share?

To better building,
