Hey there,

Every year, some builders grow fast and acquire more leads, more referrals, more visibility. Others struggle to stay top of mind in a crowded market.

What's the difference?

It’s not always budget. It’s not the size of the team.
It’s consistency in how they market.

Here are three things I’m seeing top-performing builders do right now that you can share with your members to help them stay competitive in 2026:

1. Local SEO isn’t optional anymore.

Builders who update their websites monthly with fresh, local content are ranking higher on Google—especially when they answer real homeowner questions in blog posts like:

  • “How much does a kitchen remodel cost in [your town]?”

  • “What’s the best time to build in [your region]?”

This kind of content works. Your members may not know how easy it is to start. I’ll cover how to dominate local SEO in next week’s email.

2. They show their process, not just the final product.

Yes, finished homes look great—but process content builds trust. Behind-the-scenes jobsite photos. Stories of how problems were solved. Posts that say, “Here’s how we work.”

These make potential customers say: I trust this company.

3. They publish something every month.

Top builders don’t go silent for weeks or months. They share quick wins, helpful tips, and recent projects. Not all of it needs to be original.

If you could provide ready-to-send content each month, your members could stay consistent without lifting a finger.

Want help giving your members marketing content like this every month?
I’ve built something that makes it easy (and even creates non-dues revenue for your HBA). I’ll share more next week.
